ACIACV›VPN
A SEPARATE ACIACV APP

Your VPN.
Clear and simple.

ACIACV VPN includes its own OpenVPN engine for Apple silicon Macs. Install once, choose a country and connect—no Tunnelblick or manual profile import.

Community relays, not a private VPN network. VPN Gate relays are run by independent volunteers. Their availability, location and logging practices can vary.

After downloading, verify the package in Terminal with shasum -a 256 ~/Downloads/ACIACV-VPN-1.0.5-M-series.pkg. A matching checksum confirms that the file matches the value published here; it is not an Apple signature or independent security certification.

Review the signing status. This installer is not Apple-notarized. macOS may warn or block it. Only continue if you downloaded this exact file from aciacv.com and accept the status. Do not turn off macOS security protections.

Install and connect

  1. Open the downloaded package and follow the installer.
  2. Approve the macOS administrator prompt with your own Mac password or Touch ID. The password is not sent to ACIACV.
  3. Open ACIACV VPN from Applications, select a country and click Connect.
  4. Disconnect restores your previous DNS setting. Ordinary connect, disconnect and relay changes do not need another administrator prompt.

Privacy and network limits

The app does not intentionally collect browsing history or traffic contents. It stores preferences on your Mac, writes local connection diagnostics, refreshes the VPN Gate relay catalog and contacts api.ipify.org to verify the public IPv4 address. The relay and these external services may receive connection metadata and your public IP.

VPN Gate relays are operated by volunteers, not by ACIACV. VPN Gate's published policy describes connection logs and packet-header logging at individual relays; each operator's practices can vary. HTTPS continues to protect website content between your Mac and the website, but a VPN relay is not a guarantee of anonymity.

This build tunnels IPv4. IPv6 may continue through your ordinary internet connection. While connected, DNS uses 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8, so those DNS providers can receive your DNS queries. Check the displayed connection state and country before relying on a tunnel.
